Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before scheduling a scrap pickup or initiating B2B liquidation. They outline legal rights, owner responsibilities, and pollution control standards.

Prime Scrap Agreement

Legal guidelines governing scrap transactions in Delhi NCR.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a pickup, requesting a valuation, or engaging in transactions with Prime Scrap (both online and offline), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Valuation, Weights, and Pricing

All scrap market rates listed on our website are estimated and subject to market fluctuations. Final payouts are calculated based on the actual weight of the scrap, measured on-site using our calibrated digital weighing equipment. Prime Scrap reserves the right to reject items that differ significantly from descriptions provided during booking.

3. Prohibited & Hazardous Materials

We only accept recyclable metals, dry scrap, e-waste, and authorized vehicles. We strictly do not accept medical waste, biohazardous material, weapons, explosives, radioactive substances, or materials containing volatile chemical agents. Any attempt to pass off hazardous materials will result in immediate termination of service and reporting to pollution control boards.

4. Legal Ownership & Authority

Customers must be the lawful owners of, or have explicit written authorization to sell, the scrap materials offered for pickup. For corporate asset decommissioning (IT assets, machinery), procurement officers must provide valid authorization letters and identity proof before material handling begins.

5. Data Sanitization & Indemnity

For IT e-waste (computers, hard drives, servers), it is the customer's sole responsibility to back up any critical data. While Prime Scrap provides physical data wiping and shredding services as part of our compliance package, the customer agrees to indemnify Prime Scrap against any claims arising from data loss or recovery.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Pickup requests can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 12 hours before the scheduled time slot. Prime Scrap reserves the right to cancel or reschedule pickups due to extreme weather, transport blockages, RTO restrictions, or force majeure events.

7. Limitation of Liability

Prime Scrap and its logistics personnel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from physical scrap clearing, dismantling operations, or on-site handling, except in cases of gross negligence.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of our scrap collection, valuation, or recycling operations shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi/NCR.

Important Audit Indemnity Notice

Under the Environmental Protection Act and RTO directives, selling stolen assets or providing invalid registration cards for dismantled vehicles is a punishable offense. We verify original papers at time of receipt.
